Three evidence labels
Documented facts come from the archived site, a directly inspected publication or official software documentation. Editorial baselines are changeable starting points, such as a compact example sequence.Unknowns stay visible when a current client, add-on or rights question has not been established.
Version-sensitive instructions
Plex and Kodi guides link to official documentation and state where a setting depends on the server, library, player, add-on or current version. A page may show a minimal test, but it may not claim that every combination works.
Historical reconstruction
The archive preserves the exact URL that received a contextual backlink and describes only what the inspected sources support. The 1995 magazine reference documents the recording. Later Wayback captures document the web pages. Those dates are not collapsed into an unsupported claim that the website existed in 1995.
Corrections and future testing
New claims should be added only with a directly checked source or a documented local test record. The current source set is listed on the sources page. Organic-traffic estimates were not used to manufacture the launch information architecture.
